Hassan Samir

Hassan Samir has extensive work experience in the field of IT audit. Hassan started their career in 2009 as a Senior Consultant at EY, where they conducted information systems assessments and application controls reviews for clients in various sectors. Hassan worked on both external and internal IT audits and gained valuable knowledge and interpersonal skills. In 2019, they joined HD Bank as an Information Technology Audit Supervisor, overseeing IT audit activities. Hassan later joined CIB Egypt in 2021 as a Senior Information Technology Auditor. Currently, they are working at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt, where they initially served as the Information Technology Audit Manager and is now the Head of IT Audit.

Hassan Samir obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Communication from Modern Academy, which they attended from 2004 to 2008. Hassan has also received various certifications, including COBIT 2019, COBIT 2019 Foundation Certificate, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Analyzing data in Analytics, Importing & preparing data in Analytics, Basics of Analytics, IT Auditing Risk Based Approach & IT Audit Role During Crisis, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), (ISC)² Candidate, MCITP, and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator 2012.
