Azeen Khanmalek

Azeen Khanmalek, AICP, currently serves as the Executive Director of Abundant Housing LA. Prior experience includes roles as the Director of Affordable Housing Production for both Mayor Karen Bass and Mayor Garcetti in the City of Los Angeles, where efforts focused on accelerating affordable and supportive housing production and streamlining approval processes. Additional positions include Senior Planning Deputy for Council District 5, City Planning Associate with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning, and Regional Planner for Los Angeles County. Azeen Khanmalek holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
