Jamie Jenks

Jamie Jenks has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Jamie started their career at Scope as a Shop Assistant in 2009 and later worked as a Shop Assistant at PDSA in 2013. In 2014, they served as a Web Assistant at Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru / The National Library of Wales. Jamie then joined Inngot as a Software Developer in 2016. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Broadcast Traffic Systems Ltd (BTS) as a Software Developer. In 2020, they joined Vortex as a Full Stack Software Engineer and was later promoted to Lead Software Engineer. In 2022, they worked as a Senior Developer at Shopify before joining Abusix, Inc. in 2023 as a Technical Lead.

Jamie Jenks has a strong education background in computer science and related subjects. From 2012 to 2016, Jamie attended Aberystwyth University and obtained a degree in Computer Science (G401). Prior to that, from 2010 to 2012, Jamie studied Computing, Economics, Maths, and Chemistry at Grŵp Colegau NPTC Group of Colleges.

Before entering higher education, Jamie attended Dwr-y-Felin Comprehensive School from 2005 to 2010. At this school, Jamie studied a variety of subjects including Maths, English Literature, English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, ICT, Geography, History, Welsh, and PE.

Additionally, Jamie has acquired additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In May 2022, Jamie obtained the Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management (8600-11) from ILM. They also obtained the Confluent Fundamentals Accreditation in February 2022 from Confluent.
