Omar Almania

Omar Almania, PhD, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience as a co-founder and managing director at Dinar Investment since July 2021. Alongside this role, Omar co-founded Abyan Capital in May 2021 and serves on the boards of multiple organizations, including Al-Ahsa Valley and the Prince Naif Institute for Research and Consulting Services. Additional roles include membership on investment committees for Sakan Foundation and Awqaf Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Holding Company, as well as chairmanship of the Income Generating Higher Education Fund at Albilad Capital and Kirnaf Finance Co. Since August 2021, Omar has been a funds board member at BLOMINVEST and serves on the audit committee of Alsoliman Real-Estate Company since October 2020. Educationally, Omar holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Finance from the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School, complemented by a Master’s in International Financial Analysis from the same institution and a Bachelor's in Finance & Investment from Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
