Gavin Murdoch

Gavin Murdoch has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Gavin began their career at Quaker Chemical as a Plant Manager of Chemical Operations. Gavin then joined Merck and took on different roles, including Senior Director of Global Procurement Strategy and Senior Director of Marketing Services Procurement. Gavin also worked at GIM Sourcing Solutions, LLC as a Principal. Gavin later joined Patheon, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships Business Development and Vice President of Global Business Management. Gavin was also the Chair of the Education Committee at DCAT. Currently, Gavin is the Vice President of Commercial Strategy at Abzena.

Gavin Murdoch has a strong educational background in engineering, technology management, finance, and management. Gavin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1984. After that, they pursued an MBA degree with a focus on Finance and Management at Villanova University from 1986 to 1991. Gavin then attended The Wharton School from 1993 to 1998, earning an Executive Master's degree in Management of Technology. Finally, they completed their education at the University of Pennsylvania from 1995 to 1998, obtaining an Executive Master's degree in Engineering Management.
