Vijay Kumar

Vijay Kumar has over 25 years of work experience in various engineering roles. Vijay started their career as a Scientist Officer at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in 1993 before moving on to Tektronix as a Project Lead in 1996. In 1999, they joined Philips as a Senior Software Engineer and then joined Coriolis Networks in 2000 as a Principal Software Engineer. Their next role was at Broadcom, where they served as a Director of Engineering from 2004 to 2018. Currently, they are working as a Senior Director of Engineering at Acacia Communications, which is now a part of Cisco.

Vijay Kumar completed their education in two notable institutions. Vijay received a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology between the years 1989 and 1993. Later in their career, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the MIT Sloan School of Management from 2012 to 2014.
