Svenja Lux

Svenja Lux has extensive work experience in various roles within the fields of human resources and hospitality. Svenja is currently the Head of Human Resources at Academia Group Switzerland AG, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at THOMMEN AIRCRAFT EQUIPMENT LTD. from November 2020 to February 2023. Svenja also served as a Sales, Administration & HR Assistant at the same company from November 2018 to October 2020. Additionally, Svenja has held leadership positions such as Niederlassungsleiterin at Personal Contact Basel AG from October 2016 to July 2018 and Direktorin at Art Deco Hotel Elite from September 2015 to March 2016. Svenja also has experience as a Rooms Division Manager at Dorint An der Messe Basel from February 2011 to September 2015 and as a Front Office Manager at Einstein St. Gallen from January 2010 to January 2011. Earlier in their career, Svenja served as an Assistentin des Geschäftsführers at DP-Event (Pty) Ltd from June 2009 to December 2009 and as a Direktionsassistentin at Hotel Post Zermatt from October 2008 to May 2009. Svenja briefly took maternity leave in August 2018 for two months.

Svenja Lux has had a comprehensive education history. In 2005, they attended Hotelfachschule Thun where they obtained a Diploma in Hôtelière Restauratrice HF. Following that, from 2012 to 2014, Svenja pursued a Nachdiplomstudium in Hotelmanagement NDS HF, earning a Diploma in Hotelmanagement. Svenja'smost recent educational endeavor took place in 2020 at Avanti KV Weiterbildungen, where they completed a Payroll Managerin edupool.ch certification.
