Jeff C Clifton

Jeff C Clifton has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to university relations and study abroad programs. Jeff C is currently the Vice President of University Relations at Academic Programs International (API), a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Vice President of University Relations at API from November 2019 to May 2021. From June 2011 to October 2019, they held the position of Senior Director of University Relations at API.

Before joining API, Jeff worked as the Regional Director at GlobaLinks Learning Abroad from May 2009 to June 2011. Prior to that, they were employed at Clemson University for a decade, where they served as the Director of Clemson Abroad from May 1998 to May 2008. Jeff C started their career at Clemson University as a Study Abroad Coordinator from August 1993 to May 1998.

Before entering the field of university relations and study abroad programs, Jeff gained sales and marketing experience as a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Tour de France Doc 23 from February 1991 to August 1992.

Jeff C Clifton has a Bachelor of Science - BS degree from Michigan State University. Jeff C also holds a Master's degree from Clemson University. In addition, they have completed a study abroad program at Sorbonne Université, focusing on French Language and Literature. Jeff C has also participated in a study abroad program at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, specializing in Spanish Language and Literature.
