Katy Wilson

Katy Wilson is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the IB Coordinator for MYP and DP Programs and as a MYP Language and Literature Instructor at Academie Lafayette since August 2018. With a strong background in the International Baccalaureate framework, Katy also holds the position of Assistant Examiner for Language A: Literature since December 2014. Previous roles include IB English Instructor and Co-Lead Teacher at Lee's Summit School District from November 2003 to June 2020, as well as an Adjunct Instructor at Rockhurst University from July 2015 to January 2017. Katy began their career as a Website Data Analyst at eScout and a Product Assistant at NBC Internet. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from Rockhurst University and a Bachelor's degree in Classics and Classical Languages from the University of Kansas, complemented by studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2002 to 2008.
