Margo Edmunds, PhD, FAMIA has had a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare informatics. Margo has served as an Associate Editor at Applied Clinical Informatics since 2013. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President at AcademyHealth in 2012. Dr. Edmunds also worked as a Past Chair, Public Policy Committee at the American Medical Informatics Association in 2011. Margo has been a Reviewer for the International Journal of Medical Informatics since 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they were the Senior Program Officer and Study Director at the Institute of Medicine, where they directed a national study on Medicare payment reform. Additionally, they served as a Faculty member in the Graduate Program in Communications at Johns Hopkins University from 2006 to 2012.
