Rishika Desai

Rishika Desai is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in health systems, capacity building, and technical assistance. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at AcademyHealth since September 2022, Rishika previously held the position of Senior Associate at the Milken Institute, focusing on public health initiatives. Rishika's earlier roles included Senior Analyst at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, where expertise was applied to opioid prevention and managing federally funded health projects. Rishika's career began with various internships in health organizations, including work on maternal health and public health systems improvements, complemented by a Master's degree in Public Health from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's in Genetics, Cell and Developmental Biology from Arizona State University.
