William Phillips

William Phillips is a seasoned technical manager with extensive experience in the live events industry. Currently serving as the Technical Manager at Academy Music Group for the o2 Forum Kentish Town since November 2021, William oversees all technical aspects of the venue, advancing shows and stage managing. In addition to this role, William operates as a Freelance Sound Engineer through William Phillips Audio, contributing expertise to various venues including Anna Valley, Heaven, and Roundhouse. Previous positions include AV Manager at Oxygen Event Services, where responsibilities included managing on-site technical teams and event logistics, and AV Technician at Production Plus Ltd, providing audio-visual solutions for diverse events. William began in the events sector at Bucks Students' Union, developing foundational skills in event production during a Bachelor’s Degree in Audio And Music Production from Buckinghamshire New University.
