Patrick Bergstroem has worked in various roles in the technology and finance industries since 2008. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Bartender at Glendola Leisure (Holdings) Limited and an Assembly Operator at V-ZUG AG. From 2009 to 2010, they were an Analyst at Deutsche Bank in the Global Markets Operations Business Management department. From 2010 to 2014, they were an Associate at Deutsche Bank in the Global Markets Operations Regulatory, P&L/Risk T+1, and Front-Office Technology departments. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Vice President at Deutsche Bank in the Global Markets Front-Office Technology department. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Vice President at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Vice President at BNY Mellon in the Asset Servicing Global Markets Technology department. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Academy Of Mine and a Frontend Developer at Brandformers.io, as well as a Software Engineer in the Scott Coates Org mentorship program focusing on leveling up junior developers.

Patrick Bergstroem obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Bath in 2009. In 2016, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2018, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance. In 2021, they began taking courses through App Academy Open in Computer Software Engineering. In 2022, they are expected to complete the Full Stack Open course in Modern Web Development at the University of Helsinki.
