Patrick Versace has extensive work experience in various roles related to technology and software development. Starting in 1996, they worked at Ellucian as a Senior Consultant, overseeing the development of custom enhancements for ERP software. Patrick then became a Principal Consultant, leading multimillion-dollar software enhancement projects. In 2006, they transitioned to the role of Solutions Architect, managing servers and services using DevOps practices. In 2009, they became an Application Architect at Ellucian, leading a technical overhaul of Banner ERP and managing project teams across multiple time zones.
In 2010, Patrick joined Georgetown University as the Director of Student Systems, where they oversaw strategic operations and managed contracts with software vendors. Patrick also designed training materials for integration processes and ensured successful testing and adoption. In 2014, they moved to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as the Head of Enterprise Applications. In this role, they directed the adoption of new strategic technologies, performed data analysis using AI methods, and ensured software development met business requirements.
Most recently, Patrick became the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Acadeum in 2022.
Patrick Versace holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from the University of Hartford.
