Rachel Legend

Rachel Legend has had an extensive and diverse work experience. Rachel is currently the Division President at Acadia Healthcare since September 2023. Before this, Rachel founded their own companies, The Willow Tree NE, LLC in 2022 and True North Consultants in 2022. At True North Consultants, they contributed to the financial growth of companies and provided mentorship to leadership teams. Rachel also has experience as the SVP of Behavioral Health at Recovery Centers of America from November 2022 to September 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Group CEO at UHS from March 2019 to November 2022. Rachel's earlier roles include CEO at Fuller Hospital from March 2016 to November 2022, Director of Behavioral Health at CharterCARE Health Partners from February 2015 to March 2016, Manager of Centralized Access and Assessment at CharterCARE Health Partners from April 2013 to March 2015, and Lead Clinician at The Providence Center at CharterCare from February 2011 to April 2013. Rachel also has experience as a School Social Worker, Team Leader at The Met School in Providence, RI from June 2006 to February 2011, and as the Interim Executive Director and Program Director at Youth Pride, Inc from January 2004 to January 2008.

Rachel Legend has a Master's degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College, obtained in an unspecified year. Rachel also holds a Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice from San Jose State University, obtained in 1995. In 2019-2020, Rachel attended Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health and obtained a Graduate Certificate in LGBT Health. Additionally, Rachel has certifications as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) from both Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as well as a certification as a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP) from Rhode Island.
