Kathleen Kordestani

Kathleen Kordestani began their work experience in 2012 as an Engineering Intern at HDA Technology. Kathleen then worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Peregrine Pharmaceuticals in 2013, where they gained experience in protein purification and cell culture. In the same year, they also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, San Diego, focusing on cardiovascular health.

In 2014, Kathleen joined Vical as a Laboratory Technician I, where they conducted quality control testing and drug product development. Kathleen also worked on a Senior Design Project at Beckman Coulter during the same year.

From 2015 to 2017, Kathleen worked at Vala Sciences as a Research Associate, where they maintained primary cell lines, developed high-throughput screens, and provided validation services.

In 2017, Kathleen joined Therapeutics Inc. as a Clinical Research Assistant and later transitioned to the role of Clinical Data Associate. In this position, they gained experience in clinical data management.

Currently, Kathleen is working at ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. as a Clinical Data Manager I, a position they started in 2020.
