James Crumlish

Jim joined Acadian in 2017 and is the firm’s Chief Technology Officer. In this capacity, he works with business leaders and stakeholders, aligning projects, people, and IT resources to execute firm-wide strategic goals. Jim was previously Acadian’s Director of Corporate Development. Prior to joining Acadian, he was a managing director at State Street Global Advisors, where he oversaw the full development life cycle for the firm’s risk applications, investment solutions, currency management, and market data management functions. Prior to SSGA, Jim was a senior vice president in IT at Putnam Investments, supporting equity and fixed income research systems.

Jim holds an M.B.A. from Babson College and earned a B.A. in mathematics, with a minor in computer science, from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
