Alexander Schmidt

Alexander Schmidt has a diverse work experience in procurement, logistics, and supply chain management. Alexander began their career at Getränke Ahlers GmbH as the Head of External Logistics. Alexander then worked at Tesat-Spacecom as the EEE Supply Manager. Alexander then joined Airbus, where they held roles as a Supply Chain & Strategy Manager and a Commodity Manager. Alexander further advanced their career at Leica Biosystems as a Commodity Manager Electronics and later as the Teamlead for Material Supply. Most recently, Alexander has been working at J.A. Becker & Söhne GmbH & Co. KG as the Head of Procurement, overseeing strategic and operational purchasing, materials management, and warehouse functions. Alexander is currently the Head of Procurement & Logistics at Acandis GmbH, where they manage procurement strategies, supplier management, and logistics processes. Alexander has a proven track record of successfully leading teams and optimizing procurement and supply chain operations.

Alexander Schmidt attended IHK Braunschweig from 2005 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Fachwirt specializing in Fachkaufmann Einkauf/Logistik.
