Dr. Magnus Kruse

Dr. Magnus Kruse is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in polymer technologies, currently serving as Group Leader and Principal Engineer at Acandis GmbH since September 2020. Previously, Dr. Kruse worked at the Institut für Textiltechnik der RWTH Aachen University from April 2014 to March 2020, where contributions included the development of electrospun products for medical applications and oversight of research projects with industrial partners. As Interim Head of the Medical Department, responsibilities included leading a team of 13 doctoral candidates, strategic planning, talent acquisition, and financial management. Dr. Kruse holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Technische Universität Dresden and additional studies at Universidad de Córdoba.
