Dan Ellis

Dan Ellis is an experienced human resources leader currently serving as the Interim Chief Executive Officer at Acas, where responsibilities include overseeing a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees and managing a budget of around £60 million to improve employment relations in Britain. Previous roles include People Director at Acas, Head of Human Resources at Companies House, and Head of Performance Management, HR Policy & Employee Relations at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. Dan has successfully driven organizational transformation and developed HR initiatives aimed at enhancing employee experiences, performance management, and talent development across various sectors, including public services and private enterprise.
