Peter Pontius

Peter Pontius has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Peter is currently working as the CX Director for the Central Region at Accel Entertainment since August 2021. Prior to that, Peter worked for B & B Amusement of Illinois, LLC for almost nine years as the Director of Loss Prevention & Compliance. In this role, they developed compliance programs and auditing procedures and served as the point of contact for regulatory agencies and vendors.

Before that, Peter worked as an Account Executive at Streamline Payments for over ten years, where they focused on helping businesses reduce expenses and increase sales through customized merchant services solutions. Peter also worked at WorldPay as a Regional Sales Manager, managing sales representatives and building partnerships with banking associations and agent banks.

Peter's earlier experience includes working as a Sr. Merchant Services Representative at National City Merchant Services, where they supported National City Bank's clients in the Central Illinois market. Peter also served as a Sales Manager at Sud's Motor Car Company, where they supervised a sales team and handled vehicle negotiations and marketing.

Peter started their career at the Bloomington Police Department as a Crime Scene Technician, where they collected and preserved evidence and assisted the state's attorney's office. Overall, Peter has a diverse background with expertise in compliance, sales, management, and law enforcement.

Peter Pontius has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University. Peter also holds an Associate of Arts degree in General studies from Lincoln College at Normal. Peter attended University High School as well.
