Michael Baird

Mike Baird is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and dental sectors. As the CEO and Founder of Accelerate Dental since January 2023, Baird focuses on empowering entrepreneurial dentists through shared ownership and leadership within a next-generation Dental Partnership Organization. Previously, Baird served as the Chief Executive Officer of Henry Schein One, leading the world’s leading dental software provider before their tenure at American Well as President, where Baird significantly expanded the company’s health system business. Baird has also held roles as an Operating Partner at Waterline Ventures and an Angel Investor with investments in numerous startups, showcasing a strong commitment to supporting innovation. Additionally, Baird has board experience with the American Telemedicine Association and has been involved with various organizations including Avizia and Videonor. Baird's educational background includes an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a B.S. in Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
