Kai Koch

Kai Koch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer support, technical service, and engineering within the maritime and energy sectors. Currently serving as Team Lead Customer Support and Production for Accelleron (ABB Turbocharging) since April 2022, Kai previously held roles as Senior Engineer Global Training and Support and Global Head of Sales, focusing on Tekomar XPERT engine performance optimization software. Prior to joining Accelleron, Kai was Technical Manager at BP, overseeing lubricant production, project management, and strategic planning, as well as a Technical Service Engineer providing customer support for marine lubricants. Earlier career experiences include positions as Technical Inspector at Thomas Schulte Ship Management and ORION BULKERS. Kai Koch earned a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Ship Operation Technology from Hochschule Flensburg.
