Jamie L.

Jamie L. has a strong background in the biotechnology and life sciences industry. They began their career as a Lab Assistant for Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Microbiology Lab Department at Ohlone College in 2013. From there, they gained experience as a Cell-culture Technician and later as an R&D Lab Assistant at Bavarian Nordic. At BD, Jamie worked as a System Lab Specialist and later as a Lab Specialist II. They performed various tasks such as managing lab supplies and equipment, auditing labs for safety and compliance, and participating in improvement initiatives. They also trained on cell contamination checking and various clinical assays. Jamie then moved on to Minaris Regenerative Medicine, where they worked as a QC Associate II, performing cell counts, cell viabilities, and clinical FACS assays. They joined CellCarta as a Senior Research Associate in 2021, specializing in clinical assay development. Currently, Jamie works at Accellix as an Associate Scientist focused on assay development.
