Alan Grimm started their work experience at AT&T in 1997 as an Application Specialist, where they provided Tier-I/Tier-II on-site support for mission critical customer care applications. Alan also led troubleshooting, outage investigation, and regular maintenance updates/fixes, and managed billing application updates and validation. Alan then moved to Tech Mahindra in 2011 and held the roles of Senior Application Specialist and Team Lead - Application Specialist. In these roles, Alan provided on-site support for mission critical customer care applications, implemented process and procedure improvements, and created application recovery documentation and business contingency plans. Alan also ensured accurate release deployments, assigned resources to meet workflow needs, and engaged in business continuity compliance activities. Alan's most recent position is as a Manager - Tech Support at Accertify, Inc., where they started in December 2021.
Alan Grimm earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema Arts & Science with a focus on Cinematography from Columbia College Chicago. In addition, they obtained certifications such as Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., BMS Certification for PM (obtained month and year unclear), IT UP Professional Certification from AT&T, ITIL v3 Foundation Certification from ITIL Certified, Lean Six Sigma (White and Green Belts) from the International Standard for Lean Six Sigma (ISLSS), and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP & MCDST) from Microsoft.
