Bogdan-Gabriel Iliescu

Bogdan-Gabriel Iliescu is a Cyber Security Engineer at accesa.eu since July 2023, previously serving as a Cyber Security Analyst at Honeywell from January to July 2023, where contributions included developing Splunk rules for detecting malicious threats in the OT sector and analyzing alert triggers. Earlier, in June to August 2022, Bogdan-Gabriel gained experience at Secureworks, acquiring knowledge on topics such as the kill chain, network forensics, and security tools, as well as pursuing CompTIA Security+ certification. Educationally, Bogdan-Gabriel is pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Bucharest, expected to be completed in July 2026, and holds a Bachelor's degree from the same institution in Mathematics and Informatics, along with a High School Diploma in Mathematics and Informatics from Colegiul National "Tudor Vladimirescu" Targu Jiu.
