Michael Afolabi

Michael Afolabi is a seasoned professional in credit risk management and data analytics, currently serving as Portfolio Regulatory Reporting Manager and Data Analytics at Access Bank Plc since October 2023. Prior to this role, Michael has accumulated extensive experience at Ecobank Nigeria, focusing on credit risk management and regulatory reporting since March 2022, and at First City Monument Bank Limited, where significant contributions were made in data analysis and regulatory reporting from January 2019 to March 2022. Michael’s career began at Heritage Bank Plc, specializing in credit administrative tasks and risk data analysis from January 2016 to January 2019. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Achievers University and is pursuing an MSc in Financial Engineering at WorldQuant University, with a background in Engineering Applied Physics from Federal Polytechnic Ede.
