Jay Krall

Jay Krall has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jay is currently serving as the VP Communications Products & Data Partnerships at Access Intelligence Plc since October 2021. In this role, they manage data partnerships with social platforms and news organizations for three software companies, overseeing data governance and product management.

Before joining Access Intelligence Plc, Jay worked at Socialgist as the Chief Product Officer from January 2018 to September 2021. Jay managed the product engineering and support teams, focusing on privacy-compliant access to social media data in business analytics. Jay also developed products and policies for the official Reddit data licensing program and other partnerships.

Prior to that, Jay was the Director of Strategic Solutions at Zignal Labs from November 2016 to December 2017. In this role, they led product development initiatives and established the company's first research services team, utilizing data science techniques for proprietary consumer opinion research.

At DataSift, where they worked from July 2013 to October 2016, Jay served as the Director of Product Management. Jay was responsible for overseeing Facebook Topic Data, the first anonymized data API for brands. Additionally, they managed the DataSift product team and collaborated with Facebook as an onsite contractor.

From April 2006 to June 2013, Jay worked at Cision as the Director of Product Management, Partnerships & Media Research. Jay led software releases and R&D projects, managed product, media research, and partnership teams. Jay also served as the product owner for Cision's first customer-facing APIs, mobile apps, and online communities.

Before transitioning to the tech industry, Jay worked in other roles such as a Mortgage Consultant at Chicagoland Mortgage Services from June 2005 to March 2006, an English Instructor at Big Apple International Schools of English from February 2004 to March 2005, and a Reporter at The Wall Street Journal from May 2002 to August 2003.

Jay Krall attended The University of Kansas from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Certified Information Privacy Professional, Europe from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
