Shavkat Akmalov

Shavkat Akmalov has a work experience spanning from 2005 to 2018. Shavkat started their career as a Consultant Internal Audit and Accessbank auditor at LFS Financial Systems in September 2005. Shavkat later became a Senior Internal Auditor at the same company in January 2010. In February 2018, they joined Access Microfinance Holding AG as the Head of Internal Audit Department.

Shavkat Akmalov holds a Master's degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from Tashkent Finance University, completing their studies from 2000 to 2004. Shavkat has also obtained additional certifications in cybersecurity risk management from HarvardX and has participated in the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford in 2021.
