Yasser Marcos has worked in the IT and engineering fields since 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they were self-employed at Yasser Marcos Co. in Monterrey, Mexico. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Data and Reporting Analyst at Shell Oil Company. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Pipe Fitter/Welder at Phoenix Services. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an IT Technician at ManpowerGroup for Hewlett-Packard Company. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an IT Field Services Analyst at Mackey & Tanner, LLC for LyondellBasell. From 2012 to 2020, they worked as a Document Control Specialist and Senior Document Controller at Technip. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Document Controller at Technip Energies. Since 2022, they have been working as a Document Control Manager at Access Sciences.

Yasser Marcos obtained an Associate's degree from Universidad Anáhuac Mexico Norte in 2000. In October 2022, they became an IIBA® Member.
