Sambhavi Chandrashekar

Sambhavi Chandrashekar currently serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Accessible & Equitable AI Systems Technical Committee at Accessibility Standards Canada and is the Global Accessibility Lead at D2L, where prior roles included Accessibility Program Manager. Additional positions include Vice Chair of the Global Leadership Council at the International Association of Accessibility Professionals, Senior Advisor at Accessibility Partners Canada, and Adjunct Professor at OCAD University and York University. Sambhavi Chandrashekar has extensive experience in leading accessibility initiatives and engaging with diverse communities, with active roles in various committees focused on enhancing accessibility standards in education and technology. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Toronto, an M.Sc. in Human-Computer Interaction from University College London, and an M.Sc. in Theoretical Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
