Shayla R. Wilson, MPH

Shayla R. Wilson, MPH has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Shayla R. is currently the Head of Community and Digital Engagement at Acclinate, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, Shayla held various roles at Evoke Kyne, including Vice President of Digital Strategy from October to November 2022, Director of Digital Strategy from July 2020 to October 2022, and Digital Manager from July 2019 to July 2020.

Before joining Evoke Kyne, Shayla worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Digital Support, Design and Evaluation ORISE Fellow from July 2017 to July 2019. Shayla R. also served as a Research Health Scientist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from September 2015 to August 2017.

Shayla's earlier work experience includes positions such as Health Communications Researcher at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center from January 2014 to January 2015, Quality Improvement Intern at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan from May to August 2014, Centre Director at Jenny Craig from January 2012 to August 2013, and Research Assistant at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from January to August 2012.

Shayla R. started their professional career as a Clinical Research Associate at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers, where they worked from January 2009 to December 2011. Throughout their career, Shayla has demonstrated expertise in community and digital engagement, digital strategy, research, health communications, and quality improvement.

Shayla R. Wilson, MPH holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from Spelman College. Shayla R. also has a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree with a focus in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
