Carissa Nemmers

Carissa Nemmers is an experienced audit and compliance professional with a strong background in financial oversight and risk management. Currently serving as an Audit Manager at ACCO Brands since February 2018, Carissa develops annual audit plans and oversees audit projects, ensuring coordination with local management. Prior experience includes roles at Stericycle, where responsibilities as an IT Risk & Compliance Specialist involved managing numerous audits and compliance assessments, as well as leading the development of IT control frameworks in multiple countries as a Senior Internal Auditor IT. Previously, Carissa held positions with McGladrey and US Bank, enhancing skills in audit processes, financial analysis, and team leadership. Carissa holds an M.B.A. in Hospitality Leadership from DePaul University and a B.A. in Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University.
