Alison Anne has had a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Alison started their career as a hostess at Johnny V's in 2003, which unintentionally turned into their long-term career. Alison then worked as a server at Applebee's in 2006, gaining their first taste of corporate work. After that, they spent several years as a bartender/server at Elephant & Castle Pub and Restaurant, where they gained their first exposure to effective management.
In 2013, Alison worked as an actress at SAG-AFTRA before transitioning back into the hospitality industry. Alison worked as a bartender manager at both Atomic Billiards (2014-2017) and Iron Horse Tap Room (2015-2017) before joining Penn Social DC as a lead server (2016-2017), shift manager (2017-2018), and eventually as the Communications and Events Director (2018-2020).
In 2018, Alison became the "Leader of the Restaurant Revolution," advocating for employees and businesses in the restaurant industry. In 2019, they joined Accomplishment Coaching as a Program Coach and Coach Trainer, providing high-standard coach training to students over a 12-month program.
Throughout their career, Alison has demonstrated their ability to thrive in different roles and industries, bringing their expertise in leadership, coaching, and hospitality to their various positions.
Alison Anne attended the University of Maryland from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Alison'sfield of study was focused on Theatre, English Language and Literature. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. These include the "Professional Certified Coach" (PCC) certification from the International Coaching Federation, which they achieved in August 2021. Alison also holds the "ICF Member Badge" certification from the same institution, obtained in February 2021.
