Deborah Fischer

Deborah Fischer is an experienced professional currently serving as a member of the Digital Reporting Consulting Forum and Connectivity Advisory Panel at EFRAG and as a member of the Sustainability Working Party at Accountancy Europe. Deborah has been a partner at RSM Belgium since July 2012, leading the Corporate Governance and Sustainability Reporting business line, and holds extensive experience in audit engagements across both the non-profit and commercial sectors. Deborah's previous roles include registered auditor positions at RSM Belgium and Callens, Pirenne, Theunissen & Co, where expertise in judicial missions, consultancy, due diligence, and corporate governance was developed. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in commercial and financial sciences from Ichec Brussels Management School and additional studies focused on sustainable development goals at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
