Jens Berger

Jens Berger is a Partner at Deloitte since August 2004, leading the German IFRS and Corporate Reporting Centre of Excellence and serving on the Global IFRS Leadership Team. Jens has been involved with EFRAG since September 2016, holding multiple roles including Vice-Chair of the Financial Reporting Technical Experts Group and Chair of both the Financial Instruments Working Group and Connectivity Advisory Panel. Additional contributions include membership in various committees related to financial reporting and sustainability across organizations such as ASCG, ESMA, and Accountancy Europe. Jens also served as a Practice Fellow at the International Accounting Standards Board and worked as a freelancer at Agilent Technologies in 2002. Academic credentials include a Dipl.-Kfm. from the University of Bayreuth, specializing in corporate taxation, auditing, marketing, and English.
