Radu Ciobanu

Radu Ciobanu, PhD, currently serves as the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Socio-economic Environment at the Faculty of Finance and Banking, overseeing student support operations and activities. In addition, Radu is a Full Professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, teaching courses in taxation, investments, financial analysis, and mergers and acquisitions. As a researcher at the Center of Financial and Monetary Research, Radu focuses on various areas including public finance and corporate finance. Radu's expertise extends to roles as a Finance Expert for the Forumul Tinerilor din România, a Tax Specialist and Lecturer for the Body of Expert and Licensed Accountants of Romania, and involvement in various tax policy groups. Radu has also contributed to the Romanian government's National Committee for euro adoption and held leadership positions in academic organizations. Radu holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Finance and has completed advanced programs in academic leadership and organizational leadership.
