Xuyong Yu

Xuyong Yu has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer and Software Intern at Hikvision, where they developed and refined algorithms for license plate recognition, vehicle detection and tracking, and programmed for data transmission from the camera to terminal server. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at APN Health as a Graduate Researcher and Algorithm Developer, where their doctoral research was funded by APN Health and they analyzed the movement of a cardiac catheter in a chamber using fluoroscopic images, analyzed ECG and intracardiac electrogram signals from catheter electrodes, and evaluated Electrode-tissue Contact Force based on the moving pattern of catheter tip and EGM characteristics. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Foxconn Industrial Internet USA as a DS/AI Tech Lead and Senior AI Engineer, and at AccuPulse Medical Inc as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed algorithms for 3D cardiac mapping system and ECG & EGM signal processing with traditional & deep learning approaches.

Xuyong Yu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Donghua University between 2006 and 2010. Xuyong then obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Donghua University between 2010 and 2013. In 2014, they began their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computational Sciences at Marquette University and graduated in 2018. In 2019, Xuyong Yu completed four Coursera Course Certificates in Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects.
