John Bergstrom has held a variety of positions in the door hardware industry. John began their career in 1997 as the Director of the Architectural Hardware Division at Dorma Group North America. In this role, they worked closely with executive staff to develop and implement a five-year strategic business plan, managed the sales and product marketing departments, and oversaw the introduction of the company's "Next Generation" product line, which added $2M in sales in two years. John was then promoted to Director of Sales for the Architectural Hardware Division, where they grew sales from $45M to $52M and promoted a "team approach" in the development of measurable goals and objectives. In 2003, John established a new independent sales agent, JBM Group LLC, and quickly grew sales from $17M to $21M in two years. From 2011 to 2012, they served as Director of Business Development for the Door Controls Group at ASSA ABLOY, where they set the strategic direction for each of the five brands and reduced manufacturing costs by 20%. Finally, from 2012 to 2023, they served as President and CEO of FSB North America, where they turned around a failing business, improved cash flow, and implemented an online pricing configurator that saved $100,000 annually.
