Roger Watkins

Roger Watkins is an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a diverse range of work experience. Roger started their career at Lake Shore, Inc. in 1991 as a Senior Project Engineer. After that, they worked at Caterpillar, Inc. as a Senior Engineer in marine/industrial engine electronics design and support. In 2002, they joined Quill & Disc, Inc. as a Senior Programmer, where they developed and maintained proprietary patent search software. From 2006 to 2014, they worked at Validus Technologies, LLC as a Senior Engineer, leading projects and mentoring junior engineers in various electrical engineering tasks. In 2014, they briefly worked at BriteSol LLC, where they created a power supply for LED lighting units and assisted in the development of new products. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Senior Electrical Engineer at bb7, updating firmware and providing engineering consulting services to clients. Roger then worked as a self-employed Senior Electrical Engineer, specializing in electronic design and development consulting, from 2015 to 2019. At Spectrum Brands - Remington Products, they served as a Senior Electrical Engineer from 2018 to 2019, supporting and updating intense pulsed light products. Currently, they work at Accuray as a Senior Electrical Engineer, starting in 2020.

Roger Watkins attended the United States Naval Academy from 1974 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Electronics.
