Montse Vendrell

Montse Vendrell is currently a board member at Accure Therapeutics. Prior to this, they were the CEO of BIST (The Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology) from October 2015 to October 2016. Before that, they were the CEO of Biocat, BioRegion of Catalonia, from April 2007 to September 2015.

Vendrell has also held positions as the Director General of Barcelona Science Park from April 2014 to July 2015, Deputy Director of Barcelona Science Park from September 1997 to April 2007, and Postdoc at Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) from January 1995 to September 1997.

Montse began their career as a Postdoc at Hoffman-LaRoche, Roche Institute of Molecular Biology, from January 1992 to December 1994.

Montse Vendrell has a PhD from Universitat de Barcelona, a FutureMed degree from Singularity University, and a PDG from IESE Business School. Montse also has a Master's in Science Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a PhD in Biology from Universitat de Barcelona. Montse is currently participating in the Proyecto PROMOCIONA at ESADE Business & Law School.
