Halil K.

Halil K. has a strong background in data science and analysis. Halil is currently working as a Senior Data Analyst at Ace Games since April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Data Scientist at Sypke Games from August 2021 to April 2022, where they built machine learning models to understand player journeys and performed A/B tests to improve product KPIs.

Before joining Sypke Games, Halil served as the Lead Data Scientist at a micromobility company called Stealth Startup from December 2019 to July 2021. In this role, they led a data team and developed data products to increase shared electric vehicle usage and customer satisfaction. Halil implemented machine learning and operational research applications to solve real-life problems related to vehicle faults, demand forecasting, and operator assignment.

Prior to that, Halil worked as a Data Scientist at Iyzico | PayU, a fintech company, from March 2018 to October 2019. Halil focused on improving data products to minimize risk-related losses and increase payment conversion rates. Halil also played a key role in creating a data-driven culture within the organization.

Halil started their career as a Data Scientist at Garanti Technology, a banking company, from October 2017 to February 2018. There, they segmented customers based on their web page usage patterns and worked on data gathering, feature engineering, and model training.

Halil also gained research experience as an AI Research Intern at Cimpa PLM Services from April 2017 to September 2017. Halil worked on a project for an aircraft production company, building a proof of concept for managing aircraft maintenance processes using automated argumentation and computational logic.

Throughout their career, Halil has utilized various technologies such as Python, SAS programming, Oracle PL/SQL, and has developed expertise in machine learning, data infrastructure, and creating data visualizations and dashboards.

Halil K. started their education by attending Bayburt Science High School from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained their High School degree with a focus on Natural Sciences. After completing high school, Halil went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at Galatasaray Üniversitesi from 2010 to 2016. At the same time, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Galatasaray Üniversitesi from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, Halil obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Grenoble INP - Génie industriel from 2015 to 2016.

After completing their Bachelor's degrees, Halil continued their education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Artificial Intelligence from Université Paris Cité in 2017. Currently, Halil is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Industrial Engineering at Galatasaray Üniversitesi, starting in 2022.

In terms of additional certifications, Halil obtained a YDS English certification with a score of 80 out of 100 from the Centre for Assessment, Selection and Placement ÖSYM in April 2018. Halil also obtained a Delf B2 certification in French from the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale, without specifying the exact month and year.
