Ahmet Baştuğ has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. In 2002, they began as a Research Assistant at Institut Eurecom. In 2003, they moved to Philips Semiconductors where they held the roles of UMTS Algorithm Development Engineer and Institutional Consultant. In 2006, they worked as a Full Time Consultant at ArrayComm and as a Principal Architect/Research Fellow and System Architect at Vestel (Vestek Technology Group in Istanbul). From 2015 to 2020, they were a Visiting Lecturer & Supervisor at Özyeğin University and an Algorithm Development Consultant at Analog Devices. In 2020, they became Director of Software and Algorithms at Mulberry Sensors. Ahmet Baştuğ is currently a SW Development Lead at ACEINNA and an Assistant Professor at Kütahya Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi. Ahmet has also been a Founder at Video Analitik, working as a contractor/consultant contributing to Computer Vision/Image Processing, DSP, Positioning, and Digital Design.
Ahmet Baştuğ began their education in 1991 at Eskisehir Fatih Fen Lisesi, where they completed a High School degree in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. Ahmet then attended Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Following that, they completed an MSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Boğaziçi University from 2000 to 2002. Lastly, Ahmet Baştuğ earned a Phd in Mobile Communications & Signal Processing from Télécom Paris between 2002 and 2006.
