Barbara Montero

Barbara Montero leads the Strategy & Growth department, charged with driving growth - in terms of revenue, breadth and depth of mission impact– for their Acelero Learning and Shine Early Learning programs, including those of their Shine partners. Barbara’s team leads their marketing / communications, relationship management, sales, events / trainings, grant development, and market research. Since joining Acelero Learning in 2006, Barbara held various roles, including as a management consultant, an interim deputy director for Acelero Learning Clark County’s Head Start program, and VP of Program Design and Management (PDM). Prior to Acelero Learning, she supported not-for-profits in developing countries throughout Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, after working for a large multi-national organization as a Marketing Director. She holds an MBA from Thunderbird Global School of Management and a BA from Vanderbilt University.
