Victoria joined Acelero Learning in 2007 as the Director of Acelero Learning - Camden. In her current role as Executive Director, the Camden/Philadelphia program has grown from serving 90 infants and toddlers operating out of a single facility in Camden to a funded enrollment of over 1,000 children between the ages of zero and five in eight different facilities. In 2018, Victoria was appointed by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf to the Pennsylvania Early Learning Council. Victoria was first introduced to Head Start as a preschooler herself--and benefited from participating in a high-quality program. She began her career as an elementary school teacher in Paterson, New Jersey, and also worked as a preschool teacher for two years while pursuing her master's degree. In the classroom, she recognized a desperate need in the system to better support and educate children from disadvantaged or underprivileged backgrounds at an earlier age. As a result, Victoria changed her career focus to be a change agent in early childhood education. Prior to joining Acelero Learning, Victoria worked as the Educational Manager for five years at a Head Start program in Plainfield, New Jersey. She holds a master's degree in early childhood education from Montclair University.
