Amar D

Amar D. has over 20 years of experience in finance and treasury roles. Amar began their career in 1999 as a Senior Treasury Analyst at General Motors. In 2001, they moved to Lucent Technologies as a Senior Manager, Treasury. In 2003, Amar became the Assistant Treasurer at Tyco International. From 2009 to 2012, they were the SVP and Treasurer at CareFusion, where they established Treasury technology, organization and risk management programs. In 2012, Amar joined AbbVie as VP Finance and VP and Treasurer, where they executed Debt IPO, negotiated public and private financing arrangements, and established banking network and regional treasury organizations. In 2021, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute. Currently, Amar is the VP Finance at ACELYRIN, INC.

Amar D. began their educational journey by attending Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they earned a Master of Management in Business Administration and Management, General from 1996 to 1999. Amar then went on to pursue a MS in Engineering from UC Irvine, followed by a BS in Engineering from California State University-Sacramento.
