Rauten Hofmeyr

Rauten Hofmeyr is the Chief Operating Officer at Acequia Capital since April 2018. Prior to this, Rauten was the Founder and Director of Kirkham Ventures, a financial services business focusing on corporate and structured debt placements. Rauten also served as a Trustee at Bokamoso ESOP Trust (AngloGold Ashanti), where the trust aimed to empower employees with ownership in the company. Rauten's experience includes founding and being the Chief Operating Officer at Kirkham Capital, Head of Equity Structuring at Rand Merchant Bank, Co-head of Derivatives and Structured Finance at J.P. Morgan, and Manager in the Strategy Practice at Deloitte Consulting. Rauten started in the industry as an Electronic Engineer at CSIR.
