Helena Stangle has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Helena started their career in 1999 as a Legislative Assistant at the Texas House of Representatives. During their time there, they took on various roles, including Chief of Staff and Chief Committee Clerk, and served as a primary advisor and liaison for the Representatives they worked with.

In 2004, Stangle transitioned to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, where they worked as an Assistant Director for State Relations. Their role involved engaging with stakeholders, advocating for the board's priorities, and managing relationships with state officials.

In 2007, Stangle joined DeVry Education Group as the Vice President of Government and Community Relations & Public Policy. In this role, they played a key role in advancing the group's government and community relations priorities, both domestically and internationally.

Most recently, Stangle has been working at Acero Schools, where they held the position of Chief External Affairs Officer. Helena was responsible for leading the school network's communications, public affairs, partnerships, advocacy, marketing, recruitment, enrollment, and development efforts.

Throughout their career, Stangle has demonstrated strong leadership and strategic abilities, building positive relationships with public officials, community organizations, and various stakeholders. Helena has also been involved in policy and legislative work related to education and has contributed to the advancement of the missions and priorities of the organizations they have worked for.

Helena Stangle attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1995 to 1999, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree. Their major fields of study were Government and Sociology, and they also pursued a minor in Mexican American Studies.
