Axel Kross

Axel Kross has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Axel started their career as a Barkeeper and Chef at Hotel Hof Reinstorf/Restaurant Vitus and then worked freelance as a Chef Tournant at Center Parcs and Chef Fairs, Catering & Events at Kempinski Hotels. Axel then joined Achat Hotels as a Head Office Manager before moving on to become a Project Manager at THS Travel & Hospitality Services. After that, Axel worked as a Head Chef at Scandic Hotels and as a General Manager at AB arte Hotel- und Immobilienbetriebs-GmbH. Axel returned to Achat Hotels in various roles including Hotel Manager, Pre-Opening Manager, and Project Manager. Currently, Axel holds the position of Head of Project Development at Achat Hotels.

Axel Kross completed their Abitur degree from Ostseegymnasium Rostock in 1987. Following this, they pursued a degree in Hotel-Restaurant at Löwen Seckenheim/Mannheim from 1988 to 1991. Later, from 1992 to 1999, Axel studied at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, where they obtained a Magister Artium degree in Economics, Geography, and Tourism (Social & Cultural Sciences). Additionally, they also participated in an Erasmus exchange program at Karlstad University in 1994-1995, focusing on Tourism and International Marketing.
