Joao Pretto

Joao Pretto is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and business development within the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Aché Laboratórios Farmacêuticos, Joao focuses on the Transformation Office, Strategic Projects, and Management of Change. Prior to this role, Joao held the position of Head of Strategic Projects at Aqua Capital, overseeing initiatives in rural Brazil and Agrogalaxy in the agrochemicals and grains sector from December 2015 to October 2024. Earlier in the career, Joao worked at Cargill from August 2008 to December 2015 in various positions including Business Development & Process Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed business development, mergers and acquisitions, and engineering functions. Joao holds an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and degrees in Chemical Engineering and Textile Production Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Maringá.
